what is it about Mccan that makes her a hero?
It makes her hero because she has been in this big situation.
Kerryn McCann is like a hero because she is determined and tries everything to win. She is also very persistent and tries hard.
. Something I could learn from Kerryn is to be more persistent because usualy I only try once and then ask someone to help me.
. Somehting else I could learn from her is to be determined and try all I can to do something.
. One last thing I could learn from her is to be a good sportsmanship because she was very good.
I think what makes Kerryn McCann a hero is that she never gives up and always kepp on trying even though in the past she came place in a low position.

What makes Kerryn McCann a hero (in my opinion) is that she won two Commonwealth Games, but she won them because she was persistant, positive and determined to win the race. She never gave up running.
Something I learnt today:

What is it about Kerryn McCann that makes her a hero?
She’s a hero because she is determined and she also believe in herself, she will never give up! She also won two commenwealth games because she had hope!
I’ve learnt:

What I think what makes Kerryn McCann a hero is that she did not give up on the 2006 commonwealth race. I think what else makes her a good hero is that she has a great love of racing and I know that because she still race even though she had cancer and after having a baby she raced again.
I think what I can learn from Kerryn is that to never give up on some challenges that I take in my life.
I have also learnt that to keep on trying even though I have failed at doing it I should always try again like Kerryn she had races and did a bad place but tried again and had a good place in the next race she tried.
I have also learnt that I should never give up for a event that has happened like I get sick or something like that so I think I should always not give up

What makes Kerryn McCann a hero and a good role model is she kept on going even though a runner ran past her in the marathon. Kerryn McCann is also a good role model and hero, during the break before the commonwealth games started, she decided to have a baby and when the races were on she came first.
What I learnt form Kerryn McCann and to take it into my life is :
-The first thing that I learnt from Kerryn McCann is to never give up. When she was running at the commonwealth games there was a runner that ran in front of her for a while, but she ended up running past her again. I can take this into my life by running at sport because when we are doing running I can use her methods to not give up while running so I can try my best.
-The second thing that I learnt from Kerryn McCann is to try, even though Kerryn McCann did bad in her first commonwealth games she did her best in her second commonwealth games. I can that into my life because when we are at school and I can’t do something I would try my best to figure it out or have a guess.
-The finale thing I learnt from Kerryn McCann is to keep fighting. When Kerryn McCann was sick and she had breast cancer she said she will keep fighting until she can’t fight anymore. I can that into my life because when we are having cross country or something and I’m sick I would try the cross country out not just stay at home and not just stay at home and not try it out.

What makes Kerryn McCann a good hero/role model is that she’s determined and confident because when the other runner went in front of her she pushed herself harder to try and get in front of her.I also think that she cares for others she loves like how she had a child and she didn’t just leave them alone at home but she took a break from her career ,which not much people would do, to take care of her children and when she got cancer she kept fighting it until the baby was older.
Because of all these things she has done and how she’s set an example for other I could do things like her in my life like . . .
-Don’t give up. when the other runner went in front of her she kept pushing herself harder to get past her. Also when she got cancer she said that she would keep fighting until she can’t fight no more. In life when i’m facing a problem I shouldn’t give up, nobody should, because i’m/everyone’s better than that. Anyway just because you face things that are difficult doesn’t mean you should give up you should just keep on trying!
-Stay positive. When she got cancer she said that she is going to fight it and to stay positive. When I run instead of saying “I can’t do this” or “why keep running?” I can stay positive and say things like “I can do this!” and ” keep running, you can do this.”
-Lastly I think I should believe because to me when Kerryn McCann ran I think she believed in herself. This is because if she didn’t believe in herself then she probably wouldn’t have won those races/medals and she wouldn’t have been in that race in the first place!
This is why, to me, Kerryn McCann is a great role model/hero for others because she believes, she’s determined and she stays positive. 🙂

What I think that makes Kerryn McCann a hero is that she is a good role modl for us. All though she has been through a lot of hard times……She has never gave up and has been positive.Although she took a break to have a baby….. She came back to do the marathons and she came 5th. Now that was impressive!
